We had moved with the times, embracing new technologies that would benefit our clients in line with the evolution
of their business. We needed improved facilities for all
the services we now offered, so we built a brand-new factory, which we occupied in 2005. Occupying 1.5 acres (65,000 sq. ft.), our new premises feature state-of-the-art phone, process monitoring and IT systems in a secure, temperature-controlled environment.

The Producers is now part of the Mastertronic Group,
a diverse enterprise with interests in publishing, mobile technologies, software distribution and development. This consolidation allows us to enjoy close working relationships with a number of key partners, providing an effective framework in which to develop new services, new solutions.

We’ve come a long way in 18 years. It’s been an exciting ride so far, but in an odd way it feels like we’re just getting started. 

Quality Assurance

At The Producers we take great pride in the quality of our work, but we don’t think you should have to take our word for it. We are an ISO9001:2000 company, inspected every six months to test how well we conform to the standards and checks that our procedures require. We have passed, with flying colours, every test since we became accredited.

Established in 1988, The Producers began life in a London suburb. Serving the computer software industry through our experience in print, packaging, media duplication, manufacture, storage and distribution, we soon outgrew our premises and moved to a larger factory outside Cambridge. As we expanded our facilities, we also expanded our services and the range of industries for which we were able to provide more accurate and client-specific solutions.

“Solutions” is a key word in our vocabulary. We are problem solvers, and if you read some of the case studies available here you will see that we have been quite resourceful on more than one occasion. You must have heard that old chestnut about the impossible taking a bit longer? We never seem to have that luxury.

By the turn of the millennium it was clear we had outgrown our factory again, because in addition to our established services we were now running e-commerce systems and report extranets, sending e-shots and providing digital download facilities for software publishers.
